Alli Good – Asheville native, prolific (and incredible) artist/muralist/sculptor and co-ownwer of
BattleCat Coffee Bar – is the brainchild of a weekly gathering for anyone wanting to just hang in a relaxed setting and get artsy farsty over some coffee and dicussion. Or not. You don't have to say a word or sip a drip if you don't want to.
As Alli says, it's a perfect get-together at their location on Haywood Road in WAVL for people who don't necessarily want to go to bar for the night. And the fact that there's delicious coffee, food, a wonderful patio, and one can just draw, sketch, doodle, or whatever, makes for a chill, welcoming environement. It's a weekly thang that is growing to the delight of many folks.
Some art supplies are provided, but brining your own is always welcome. Sharing is caring!
Being a
Michelangelo or even doing a decent stick figure is never a requirement.
