Hollie is the new head brewer at Highland. Originally a Georgia girl, she comes to us by way of Stone Brewing in San Diego, CA.  Check out this Ale Trail interview and find out more about her and what we can expect from Highland Brewing in the coming months.     Or better yet - meet Hollie at the Ale Trail's very first event  – a Scouting Party hosted by Highland Brewing Company! Scouting Parties are a new feature at the Asheville Ale Trail, and are designed to give you a chance to learn more about our local breweries and meet some of the people behind the scenes (tanks?) that work hard to bring you some of the best craft beer in the world. Every month, we’ll have a new Scouting Party for you to check out and enjoy! Next week, we invite you to come meet Hollie Stephenson, the new head brewer at Highland Brewing Co., on Thursday, January 29, and learn more about what’s happening with Highland’s major new expansion. The Scouting Party starts at 5:30, and Hollie will begin a brief talk at 6:00. Afterwards, hang out and mingle with Highland Staff, who will be on hand to talk about the Brewery, new beers, and what to expect for the next 20 years. At the conclusion, we’ll have a drawing for some door prizes with a chance to win some great Highland Brewing and Asheville Ale Trail swag! Cheers!
