Asheville Grit and Brewgrass are excited to announce the 2017 Mayor of Brewgrass contest! You have from now until Tuesday, September 5th to post your best picture of yourself as Mayor of Brewgrass on Instagram using the hashtag #MayorofBrewgrass21. An appointed panel of judges will announce the five finalists who will be in the running for the Mayor of Brewgrass on September 6th. At that point, public voting will begin! The winner will be announced on September 12th! Be sure to follow Asheville Grit (@avlgrit) and Brewgrass (@brewgrassfestival) on Instagram to stay in the know about the competition.  The appointed Mayor of Brewgrass will receive the following fabulous prizes: – An Official Mayoral Sash  – (2) VIP Passes to Brewgrass Festival 2017 – A Gift Basket of Brew-tastic goodies from the festival’s participating breweries and sponsors. – and more! One runner-up will receive 2 General Admission tickets, and all of our runners-up will get a prize!   So what are you waiting for?
