Asheville Yoga Festival includes acclaimed presenters, artists, musicians

Here's a reminder about the amazing line-up at the Asheville Yoga Festival, which is coming up July 26-29:
The Asheville Yoga Festival is heading into its fifth year and its second year under the leadership of co-directors Amanda Hale and Sara LaStella. This year’s lineup will again include over 45 world-renowned presenters, artists, and musicians, as well as 70+ offerings, including free activities that will be open to the public. The Bhakti Stage and the Mountain Air Market will both be located in Pack Square Park, featuring free live music and unique local and national health & wellness vendors. Some notable additions to the activities in Pack Square Park include a free community yoga practice each day and free attendance to panel discussions with a variety of notable presenters. There will also be a Soul Banquet Friday-Sunday that will feature live music on the Bhakti Stage at lunch time. Mix and Mingle events include book signings and the opportunity to meet many of the presenters. The Slackpark will be home to Slackline and Acro Yoga and will be available to anyone who wants to test their skills. Bucket Beats is also free and will give kids the opportunity to learn how to drum using buckets as their instruments. Other fun available to the public includes mandala weaving, sound healing, making flower crowns, and live equipment demonstrations from vendors and sponsors. Festival organizers hope locals and tourists will take advantage of the opportunity to explore these free offerings. The live music begins Thursday night with Sean Johnson’s Kickoff Kirtan at OM Sanctuary. A 2017 festival favorite, MC YOGI will once again bring his yoga-inspired hip hop to the stage. The Festival is hosting an EPIC Celebration Party on Saturday night at The Salvage Station with a performance on the outdoor stage from MC YOGI and DJ Sol Rising. Tickets for both shows are available to festival goers and the public and can be purchased through the Asheville Yoga Festival website. Limited tickets for Asheville Yoga Festival are still on sale.
