Briar DeHaven is a poet, writer, and tech head who hails from the South Dakotan prairie. She is Digital Marketing Executive for the Asheville Citizen-Times, assistant editor for established Asheville Poetry Review, and First Reader for emerging Orison Books. Her passions include great literature, smart business, cycling, her pups, and girl empowerment. Briar's fiction has been featured in Underbelly and her poetry has appeared in The Freeman for which she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
