Asheville aerosol artist Gus Cutty is celebrating Halloween, and 80's heavy metal and horror movies in his latest show.

The Asheville Area Arts Council is hosting "MISPRINTS: A Group Exploration into Printmaking, Craft, and Design" curated by and featuring Andy Herod along with 16 other Asheville area artists and crafts people. The opening reception is Friday, July 3rd.

Local artist Anna Jensen's latest show aims to be a provocative, engaging, and affecting collection of her very autobiographical, multimedia work that vividly combines humor and darkness. Show runs June 19 - August 2 at Pink Dog Creative.

This unique exhibit is where fans get to pay visual tribute to their cultural heroes, media makers and pop icons opens Friday May 1st at Downtown Books and News and remains on display through June 30. Who would you pay artistic homage to?
