This weekend is the
River Arts District Studio Stroll in West Asheville, where over 170 artists open up their studios to the masses for two days of not only perfect opportunities to support and buy local art, but also experience creative processes first hand.
It's billed as the first, largest, and most walkable artist tour in the region, but free trolley service is also available to help you bop around from studio to studio within 22 historical buildings along the French Broad River.
All that strolin' around will no doubt leave you hungry and thirsty - so take your pick and stop into any one (or a few!) of the restaurants and breweries throughout the way.
For more information and to check out a selection of featured artists, visit the River Arts District's website,

You can also download a map of the River Arts District

Happy Strolling!
