Ahh, 2017. Whether you loved it or you're ready to see it go, it was one heck of a year. And Asheville is sending it off in a big way. Asheville Symphony's "Most Colorful Farewell" to Musical Director Daniel Meyer: with a performance of Orff's Carmina Burana, Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, $8.50-$52.50 Ellington Underground Presents the Broadcast and Window Cat, 56 Patton Ave., 10 p.m. - 1 a.m., $20.
